Come Visit One of Kentucky’s Only Revolutionary War Battlefields

Each August, Re-Enactors visit the park to bring visitors a glimpse of what occurred over 200ears ago on August 19. 1782. Following the Indian attack on Bryans Station near Lexington, 182 members of the Kentucky militia set out to follow the raiders  But the Indians and their British allies were waiting to ambush the oncoming Kentuckians. Seventy of Kentucky’s earliest settlers died and were buried on this spot.
