Traders to be “All Period”

Continuing from the 225th Commemoration of the Battle of Blue Licks a change has been made in vendors at the park. Previously along with the 18th Century Sutlers, modern day artisans were permitted to sell items. As in 2007 the staff at Blue Licks has decided that only 18th century vendors will be on hand during the weekend re-enactment.” It is all part of our continuing effort to make this weekend a true 18th century experience” says Park Naturalist Paul Tierney. Modern items can still be found in the Park gift shop inside the lodge and some food vendors will carry modern foodstuffs.
